Lata Mangeshkar
sang most of the songs from Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje, which released in
1955.
While four of
these were solos, five were duets. Of the duets, three were with Manna Dey, and
a couple of them were with Hemant Kumar.
This is a post on
one of the Lata-Hemant duets in the film*.
It was titled Nain
So Nain Naahi Milao.
The track, which Hasrat
Jaipuri penned, was a Vasant Desai composition.
(*Note: The other
was a version of the film’s title track. The other version, of course, was sung
by Ustad Amir Khan.)
